Salonecrowdfunder is an online donation based crowdfunding platform that serves as an platform for Innovators and entrepreneurs in Sierra Leone who comply with Salonecrowdfunder policies to raise donations to enable them fulfil their dreams of starting, running and scaling-up their businesses. Our overall mission is to increase access to finance for startups in Sierra Leone innovators and entrepreneurs through crowdfunding.

Salone Crowdfunder operates a ‘Take What You Can Get Donation-based crowdfunding model. The campaigner collects the donations received from the platform, even if the campaigner did not achieve his/her target amount.

Donation-based Crowdfunding?

Donation-based Crowdfunding is the simplest form of crowdfunding as donors do not normally expect any financial return/reward in exchange of their money.

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA

  • Applicants must be 18 years and above.
  • Male/Female/Other
  • Must have a Concept or an Idea, Start up with an MVP or a Grassroots organisation
  • The idea or solution must have social impact
  • Business/Idea must be based in Sierra Leone
  • Campaigners targeting more than 7 thousand new Leones must have a Bank Account.
